Thank You

Thank you for your willingness to think about this project. Hydroponics may look like nothing more than another way of growing plants, but as an idea, it is so much more: it is creativity, it is resilience, it is hope. Each system built and planted, each plant grown, and each conversation started gets us closer to a world where no one goes to bed hungry.

Food insecurity can be a daunting issue to confront, but change only comes about at scale through all of our taking those small steps. Whether that is building your own system, volunteering, or simply raising awareness, every step matters.

Acknowledgement

I want to give a special thank you to Teens for Food Justice for sharing their work and showing how hydroponics can make a real difference in the fight against food insecurity. I am especially grateful to Ranae for taking the time to speak with me. Your perspective and dedication added so much to this project.
